Do I need campaigning or organizing experience?

No. Start with the time and skills you have. Your group and ControlAI will provide practical guidance, campaign materials, and opportunities to learn by doing.

How much time do I need?

There is no fixed weekly commitment for members. Groups set a sustainable rhythm, and you can choose the meetings and actions that fit your availability.

What happens after I enter my details?

We’ll show you groups near the city or postcode you enter. If there is no nearby group, we’ll save your interest and let you know when one starts.

Can I start a new action group?

Yes. Use the application above to tell us about yourself and where you would like to lead a group. Group leads sign the ControlAI Action Group Charter and receive training, materials, and ongoing support.

How are action groups connected to ControlAI?

Action groups are independent, locally led volunteer communities recognized by ControlAI. They are not ControlAI staff or agents. ControlAI provides guidance and sets the standards groups follow.

What standards do action groups follow?

Every activity must be lawful and peaceful. Public work stays focused on ControlAI’s mission: preventing human extinction from superintelligence by stopping its development and restricting precursor systems that could lead to it.
