We are the London Action Group for ControlAI! Our group plans on: meeting our elected representatives, writing to local and national newspapers, building relationships with community institutions, running peaceful public education and advocacy, hosting local meetings and reading groups, and supporting ControlAI campaigns and events!

Do I need a background in AI, coding, or politics to join?
Absolutely not!
You don’t need to be a political scientist or a technical expert to be affected by the risks of superintelligence. To drive tangible, meaningful change, we need people from all walks of life, regardless of job title or life stage.
Do I have to commit to coming to every single meeting?
No commitment pressure.
Drop in whenever you can make it. We know that people have busy lives, careers, and studies. Even if you can only attend occasionally, your voice will still add value to the group conversations so don’t feel discouraged.
How do I stay updated between meetings?
The best way to stay in the loop is to join ourWhatsApp Community, the link of which is accessible from this page when you’ve joined the Action Group as a member. We’ll share action items, updates, reminders, links and, aside from that, it will provide you with a safe space to speak with likeminded people.
